The SLINs are funded by the Greater London Authority (GLA). The GLA serves the Mayor of London.

The SLINs are a key commitment of the Smart London Plan, developed by the Smart London Board and launched by the Mayor of London in December 2013.

Since 2010, EIT Digital is consistently mobilising talents, ideas, technologies, investments and business across Europe and beyond to stimulate disruptive digital innovation. The headquarter is in Brussels with co-location centres in Berlin, Eindhoven, Helsinki, London, Paris, Stockholm, Trento, as well as in Budapest and Madrid.

EIT Digital was previously known as EIT ICT Labs.

Pitch event

Competition winners pitched tech innovations to some of London’s biggest redevelopment projects

Tech businesses in London had the chance to pitch their innovative solutions to some of the highest profile redevelopment districts in the capital last Thursday. Winners of two competitions had an opportunity to pitch to members of the Smart London Districts Network, including representatives from organisations leading the redevelopment of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Elephant and Castle and Croydon.
